Kid Rock a Genius but also a Humble Man!!!
For the 2nd straight year, Kid Rock has done numerous concerts at
DTE Music Theater in Metro Detroit and admission to his concerts was only $20 per ticket! In an era where ticket prices continue to
skyrocket just to go to a concert and many performers and their concerts
have priced out many who want to attend but cannot afford to, Robert
Ritchie aka Kid Rock has chosen to take the high road and once again
made ticket prices affordable for everyone. In doing so, he is playing
to a packed audience night in and night out! The music industry is a
tough and very competitive industry, but it is also an industry filled
with wealth and greed. Most performers, but not all of them have huge
egos and only care about themselves and how much money they make and how
many possessions they have as a way to measure their esteem and worth
among their peers. Kid Rock who has said before that He is very well
off, knows that fans are fickle but He has carved himself out a very
nice niche of loyal fans in the music world. He also recognizes that in
recent years the economy has crashed and people have less disposable
income to spend on such items as tickets to concerts. Even as the
economy improves, times are still very hard in areas of the country
especially in Michigan. But Kid Rock was and is a genius! By lowering
the price of his concert tickets to $20, he knew fans would flock in
droves to come and see him and the price of the ticket is very
affordable. The lower price ticket also allows fans to buy more at the
refreshment stands, at the drink counters, at the merchandise stands and
for CD's. It is a win win for Everyone!!! But there is also another
side to Kid Rock, he is a very generous man who from various sources, is
very very charitable with his money and his time in helping with all
sorts of causes and charities and giving to others unconditionally. Kid
Rock is out and about in the Communities in Michigan and can be seen
driving around in one of his vintage vehicles or sitting down for a cold
beer and eating at local eateries and talking to those who are there as well. Kid Rock has taken a beating in the Media recently, largely in part for 5 years ago, He used the Confederate Flag during His concerts and promotions. Groups tried to push GM to end their affiliation and sponsorship of Kid Rock for His use of the Confederate Flag, but in the end GM chose not to and I applaud them for not caving into Social and Media pressure. Kid Rock also held firmly to His beliefs and has not used the Confederate Flag nowadays but also did not allow those who boycotted him or those who tried to put social media pressure on him to sway him from what He has believed in all along. In His recent concerts in Michigan, He had small American Flags given out to those who attended His Concerts! He is a pillar in the Communities in
which he lives and also is well known throughout all of Michigan and the Nation for
his generosity. I have never met Robert Ritchie but if I ever did, I
would buy him a beer and say thank you for all He has done for so many.
He truly exemplifies what a person should be in life and although he
certainly has been Blessed in many ways, He is also very humble and
treats others with respect. @cupofjoeinthed
