Its Official.. U of M has sold itself out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If all the media accounts are correct about Jim Harbaugh becoming the next head coach at Michigan, then all I have to say is that U of M has sold itself, the Alumni, the Students and the great name of the University out for wins and the almighty dollar. I am sure most will defend them for the hiring of Jim Harbaugh and the ludicrous amount of money they offered him as head coach.  They set a very dangerous precedent with the amount they will pay him for coaching. I have to ask U of M this; why hire a head hunting firm and pay them allot of money to do nothing, when U of M only looked at one candidate for the position? Did they at all look at qualified minority candidates? And what happened to the interim AD saying they would look outside of a "Michigan Man" for a new head coach?  They must have put blinders on when they went after Harbaugh for they passed him over the first time when they had a head coaching vacancy, and there are many reports of his run ins and not getting along with anyone at Stanford , including the administration and many others at Stanford. There are reports than Stanford was relieved and overjoyed when He was offered the job with the 49'ers. It seems Stanford cared less about the wins then what He was doing to the University.  Now with the 49'ers and after years of success there, He has won many games but again can't get along with Management or the Owner or some players, now don't get me wrong most coaches in the NFL do not get along with the Owners or GM's all the time but there is a definite pattern here with Harbaugh, where in these past 2 coaching jobs of his, both places despite all his wins couldn't and can't wait to get rid of him for all the disruption he causes outside of  football. U of M in its desperation to appease the Alumni and Sponsors and fans have chosen to blindly ignore all the red flags and place so much emphasis on winning football games that it has sold itself out and all those who care about the university for nothing more than wins and loses and the almighty dollar. U of M tell me this, would you hire a professor or a top administrator and pay them an extraordinary amount of money if they had all the red flags and issues that Jim Harbaugh has had in his last 2 jobs? We both know the answer to that question.  I hope looking down the road , that U of M can look at itself in the mirror and continue to tell everyone they had no choice but to sell itself out in the name of sports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
