Cleveland is Manziel really your QB for the future?
Is the Johnny Manziel circus really worth it to the Browns and the city of Cleveland? Fans and Sports pundits have begged and pleaded with the Browns to put Manziel in as QB and when they did they got exactly what they wished for. A young totally inexperienced immature man who still thinks he is in college and the world revolves around him. He does what he wants and time and time again he has brought bad publicity to himself, the Browns, and the city of Cleveland. He was very bad when he did play and running the football as everyone knows in the NFL isn't a good idea for a QB if he wants to last awhile. His off field antics including the most recent allegations of a party last Friday shows that He isn't ready for the NFL and also neither is Josh Gordon the wide receiver that was suspended for being at the party. To make matters worse was that Connor Shaw the 3rd string QB played this past Sunday against the Ravens and though He wasn't good in this one game, he played with poise and he thoroughly outplayed Manziel in the 4 quarters he played in compared to the 6 or so quarters that Manziel has played in this season and Shaw played against the Ravens and a very good defense. Is Manziel really the guy that the Browns want to have be the QB of the future? I think not! He may be a back up at best for a few years or someone to come in and play a few games when the starter is out hurt or maybe a few plays during a game as part of a wildcat package but it is time for the Browns to admit they made a huge mistake drafting him in the first round and move forward figuring out if it will be Brian Hoyer or someone else who will QB this team for the years to come. The Johnny Manziel and his show me the money antics that he can't back up on or off the football field needs to come to an end. Come on Cleveland show him the door and look toward the future. @cupofjoeinthed
