Lions Suh screwed by the NFL

Was there any surprise that Ndamukomg Suh was going to be suspended for stepping on GB QB Aaron Rodgers lower leg (ankle) last Sunday? Mind you the referee and the other officials who seen the play, never threw a flag or penalized the Lions for it and the referee talked to Rodgers after the play. But once the QB and the Coach of GB started to whine about it, the media went viral with comments and such and the NFL decided to review the incident. It didn't help that the announcers who were GB slappy's all through the game added their one sided opinions as well. It seems to me and I have written about it before, is that the NFL and others want the league to become more or a flag football league where players apologize for a hard hit and hard smash mouth football is becoming a thing of the past.  The NFL has been fighting a long court battle for years in regards to concussions to players and former players and yet just this year there have been some very nasty hits to a defenseless player that has caused a concussion and a player to miss a game or more and yet all the NFL did most of the time was give the player a fine and a slap on the wrist.  But did Suh's action cause injury to the Rodgers? No it did not! But the NFL decided this incident was much worse than a nasty hit to a defenseless player that caused injury or a concussion.  And because Suh has a reputation of being an aggressive and highly intense football player and some have labeled him as a dirty player and even though many complain about him, there isn't one NFL team that wouldn't want him lining up on the defensive line playing for them . Suh and the Lions are being screwed by the NFL. If Suh was playing for the Packers or Cowboys, the teams the NFL wants to see reach the Conference Championship or the Broncos would we even be talking about this?   @cupofjoeinthed
