NFL Power Rankings Week 8 and Recap

The NFL Power Rankings Week 8 and Recap after week 7 of the Season. Week 7 opened up with the Packers rallying and dominating the injured Bears team to go to 4-2. Philadelphia at home ended the Vikings winning streak and ensured there would be no undefeated team in the NFL this season. Miami won for the 2nd week in a row as RB Jay Ajayi ran for over 200 yards for consecutive games. In London, the NY Giants downed the LA Rams in a battle of 2 very boring teams right now.  The NY Jets behind benched QB Ryan Fitzpatrick came back and beat the Ravens. In the game, Jets QB Geno Smith went down with a season ending knee injury. Oakland went to 5-2 with another road win this time over a really bad Jaguars team. Cincinnati beat the win less Browns in the Battle of Ohio. The Lions won for the 3rd straight game defeating the Redskins on a last minute TD. QB Matt Stafford is playing as good as any QB in the NFL right now.  San Diego upset the Falcons in OT in a game that was a shootout from the start. The Patriots went into Pittsburgh and continued to show everyone why they are one of the favorites to go to the Super Bowl this season. New England is 6-1 and has the best record in the NFL to date.
In the Sunday night game, we saw the first tie in a while as the Seahawks and Cardinals played to a 6-6 tie. A defensive struggle at best, but also the field conditions for an indoor stadium leaves allot of questions to be answered about why the field is in such bad condition?   And in the Monday night game, the Broncos at home throttled the Texans. Ex Bronco QB Brock Osweiler continued to have major issues at QB, making bad decisions and poor throws including as he has all season long, avoid throwing to one of the Top 5 receivers in the NFL. WR DeAndre Hopkins should demand a trade if this continues to go on much longer as Osweiler who signed a huge Free Agent contract is lucky a good defense has allowed the Texans to be 4-3 at this point in the season. Week 8 will open up with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Tennessee Titans in a battle of AFC South teams on Thursday night...  Cooper went 12-2-1 in his week 7 picks and is 82-24-1 for the season   We will continue to post His record for each weekend and season total.                                                                            twitter; @cupofjoeinthed    email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com
