NFL Week 8 Picks by Cooper NFL Analyst and Cup of Joe in the D

NFL Football Week 8 begins with a match up of two AFC South teams when the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-4) visiting the Tennessee Titans (3-4). Both teams have been disappointing up to now and hopefully this game will be the turning point.  Washington faces Cincinnati in London as the Redskins try to avoid losing 2 in a row and the Bengals look to build on winning their 2nd game in a row as well.  The NY Jets look to make it 2 in a row when they visit the win less Browns who are looking for their 1st win of the year. Detroit who has won 3 in a row look to make it 4 when they visit the struggling Houston Texans and QB Brock Osweiler. The Patriots look to avenge their only loss of the season so far when they visit the Buffalo Bills who are coming off a disastrous loss to Miami. Seattle and their great defense head into the Big Easy and face QB Drew Brees and a powerful Saints offense. The Chiefs head into Indy to face the Colts in a must win game for both teams.  Arizona visits the Carolina Panthers in a  do or die game for the 1-5 Panthers.  The Raiders who are a perfect 4-0 on the road and tied for the lead in the AFC West visit the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is 3-3 but is looking for their 1st win of the season at home.  San Diego travels to Denver to face the Broncos in a game pitting the SD offense against the excellent Broncos defense. The Packers fresh off a win last week, will again be using a backfield by committee, starring a WR as their RB, face a Falcons team who are very erratic and you never know which Atlanta shows up week to week.
In the biggest game of the week, the Eagles visit the Cowboys in a clash of the top 2 rookie QB's in the league when Philly QB Carson Wentz faces off with Dallas QB Dak Prescott. The winner of this game will take have a foot hold for 1st place in the NFC East.  And in the Monday night game sees the Minnesota Vikings traveling to Chicago to face the Bears.  Chicago gets back QB Jay Cutler who was out for 6 games with a thumb injury as they face one of the premier defenses in all of football in a game which is always tough and physical. The Vikings are looking to regain their winning ways as they sit on top of the NFC North with a 5-1 record.  Injuries continue to haunt many teams who have been decimated by the amount of injuries and these year seems that many RB's have been more then just dinged up and also WR's are taking a toll as well. And those who have fantasy football teams are scrambling this season to just put a team out there week in and week out.  Week 7 results;  Cooper 12-2-1, YTD; 82-24-1   CupofJoeintheD 10-4-1,  twitter; @cupofjoeinthed  email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com
