The Final Sunday of the NFL Regular Season is Here!!! As of Kickoff there are 35 potential scenarios of who will play who in hte Wild Card games, the most since 1990.
Week 17
has seen the
coronvirus continue to invade the NFL and teams don't know until Fri or
Sat if they will be playing on Sunday. Players continue
to test positive for the virus. Also as it has been for years, many teams will rest their star players today and they gear up for a Playoff run.
Injuries have become a major concern as more and more Players are succumbing to groin and hamstring injuries. Some teams are already decimated with injuries and I look for this to continue throughout the season. It may come down to healthy decent teams sneaking into the Playoffs and making a run this season.
Week 17 will have some key marquee match ups:
- Can Tua lead the Dolphins into the Playoffs today with a win over the Bills?
- Which Tampa team will show up today against the Falcons?
- Will the disappointing Vikings resign Cousins and HC Zimmer?
- Can the Browns win a game they are suppose to win today and get into the Playoffs?
- Will the Ravens squeak back into the Playoffs?
- Is there anyway the Cowboys make it into the Playoffs today?
- Can the resurrected NY Jets go into New England and beat an average Patriots team?
- The once Playoff bound Raiders in a must win game have to beat a Broncos team today?
- Can a banged up Cardinals QB Murray lead his team into the Playoffs against the LA Rams?
- Will Brees lead a banged up Saints team into Carolina and come out with a "W"?
- Can Rodgers lead the Packers by the Bears today in a must win game for both teams today?
- Who is the MVP this season? will it be Rodgers, Mahomes or Allen?
- Can Alex Smith conjure up a win against the Eagles to allow Washington to win the NFC East?
- With
all these NFL Players testing positive for Covid and not following
protocols, will the NFL start giving out harsher penalties?
- Is the NFL and NFLPA putting the games and $$$ ahead of the Players safety?
- Which team is next to fire their HC this season? Lions fired Patricia and GM Quinn after the Lions Thanksgiving debacle.....
Through the first 16 weeks we are seeing who
are the contenders, the so so's and the pretenders. Contenders this
season so far in the AFC; Bills, Chiefs, Colts, Titans and Steelers. In the NFC;
Packers, Saints and Seahawks Surprise teams are:
Buccaneers, Colts, Browns. Worst Teams
are: NY Jets, Bengals, Jaguars and Cowboys. Most disappointing team this year is the Minnesota Vikings...
