CFB Top25 Week 9 by Joey the Cat and CupofJoeintheD

      Here is the CFB Top 25 Week 9, updated by Joey the CFB Cat Analyst and also by CupofJoeintheD. The second half of the College Football Season will showcase some intriguing match ups that include Top 25 games:  Wisconsin at Ohio State, Auburn at LSU, Notre Dame at Michigan.  Power 5 Conferences are now getting into every weekend where teams that lose will have a hard time getting to the Conference Championship or the CFB Playoffs. The only Power 5 Conference that doesn't have a Conference Championship game is the ACC. Clemson and Notre Dame have very easy schedules and easier roads to the 4 team CFP. Although Notre Dame does have one loss already in the season. 
     Week 8 seen #5 Wisconsin lose on a last second FG to unranked Illinois.  This is the 2nd year in a row that the Badgers have lost to an unranked team. This also shows why the B1G needs to realign their Divisions and move Ohio State to the other side to even up the Divisions. Week 9 is more of a breather week for most Top 25 teams and We will see who can remain unbeaten? Will Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, LSU,  Oklahoma, Penn State, Minnesota, Baylor, SMU and Appalachian State continue to win?
     Right now there can be statements made for Ohio State and LSU as being the best teams in the Country right now. Alabama has issues on both sides of the ball and just lost QB Tua Tagovailoa to an ankle injury that caused surgery and He is out indefinitely. Clemson has some issues as well. There are at least 10 teams who have a shot at making this years CFP..
     Week 9 starts on Thursday night with a non Power 5 conference games. There seems to be a handful of games that could see Top 25 teams upset this week...
      Joey was 28-6 in week 8 including picking 3 upsets. YTD, Joey is 176-48 with 27 upsets picked thru week 8.  Joey will provide his picks of the week on Wednesday as he does every week.
