CFB Top25 Week 7 by Joey the Cat and CupofJoeintheD

       Here is the CFB Top 25 Week 7, updated by Joey the CFB Cat Analyst and also by CupofJoeintheD. The second half of the College Football Season will showcase some intriguing matchups that include Top 25 games: Oklahoma at Texas, Florida at LSU, Alabama at Texas A&M and Penn State at Iowa.  Power 5 Conferences are now getting into every weekend where teams that lose will have a hard time getting to the Conference Championship or the CFB Playoffs. The only Power 5 Conference that doesn't have a Conference Championship game is the ACC. Clemson and Notre Dame have very easy schedules and easier roads to the 4 team CFP. Although Notre Dame does have one loss already in the season.  
      A recap of week 6 saw UCF lose its second game of the season and now the talk of UCF being an Elite team is done for this season. Florida also beat Top 10 ranked Auburn and hurt the Tigers chances of reaching the CFB 4 team playoffs. The Gators still have to play LSU and Georgia and Alabama this season.  Ohio State cruised past Michigan State and still is the best team in the Country right now! Washington suffered a bad loss this week as did Oklahoma States loss to Texas Tech. Texas struggled by got by West Virginia. 
     Week 7 will continue to see some Top 10 teams fall this weekend as we start to see the top teams distancing themselves from the pretenders.
     Right now there can be statements made for Ohio State as being the best team in the Country right now. Alabama has issues on both sides of the ball and Clemson has some issues as well. There are at least 10 teams who have a shot at making this years CFP..
     Week 6 starts on Wednesday night with a non Power 5 conference games. There seems to be a handful of games that could see Top 25 teams upset this week...
      Joey was 23-7 in week 6 including picking 4 upsets. YTD, Joey is 123-35 with 22 upsets picked thru week 6.  Joey will provide his picks of the week on Wednesday as he does every week.
