The upcoming 2019 NFL Season is here, exhibition games
are over and here are My Season team picks in each Division.
There were some big moves this off season, with big name players moving to other teams and the sudden retirement of QB Andrew Luck from the Colts. Holdouts are always a major issue for teams and this year is no exception as 2 top R's in Ezekiel Elliott of the Cowboys and Melvin Gordon from the Chargers are holding out for big contracts. Both seek new deals like the one RB Todd Gurley of the Rams got last season. Also, was the surprise announcement by QB Dak Prescott that he is seeking a deal worth 40M + a year.
Some teams
will remain a top
their Divisions, some teams have gotten better, some teams will
surprise, some teams will take a step or two back, and a few teams will
remain cellar dwellers again! Will the Patriots continue to be in the Super Bowl picture or is this the year they take a step back? Here are my predictions as to where each team will finish in their perspective Divisions. Teams taking a step forward this season will be the Browns, Ravens, 49'ers and Falcons. Sleeper teams which will surprise some teams are the 49'ers and Falcons.
My hometown Detroit Lions are once again picked by most sports pundits to be in the cellar of the NFC North but even though they were win less in the preseason, I see them winning 9 or 10 games and a possible playoff berth this season. The lack of depth at top positions will be their downfall and they have to remain healthy at all keep positions to win games this season.
As most of you
already know, last year I correctly picked all but one Division winner,
and had the NFC and AFC Champions picked!!!! I will also be picking games
every week like last season and publishing the results. Stay tuned for
an exciting NFL Season and Good
luck to all Teams and Fans.... twitter; @thecupofjoeinthed email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com
