CFB Top25 Week 5 by Joey the Cat and CupofJoeintheD

Here is the CFB Top 25 Week 5 and a recap of week 4, updated by Joey the CFB Cat Analyst and also by CupofJoeintheD. Week 4 of the CFB season seen Alabama roll over Texas A&M, the Roll Tide look dominant on both sides of the ball and as of Week 4 are the team to beat this season.
The Top 10 in the CFB stayed the same but the rest of the Top 25 seem major shakeups as many teams were beat as the Power 5 Conferences began their schedules.
Old Dominion shocked #12 Virginia Tech to provide the biggest upset of the weekend. The Monarchs were 28 point underdogs at home but won the game going away by 14 points.
The Big Ten rebounded from an embarrassing week as Purdue beat Boston College and both OSU and Michigan crushed their opponents. Nebraska and Rutgers are at the bottom of the Big Ten and both will struggle to win a few games this season.
The weekly side note for week #4 was the return of Ohio State HC Urban Meyer to the sideline. It still baffles me and many others that outside of the University and its fans and Alumni, that Buckeye Nation still has their head in the sand and refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing by Meyer or its AD or the School at all.
Joey was 30-7 in week 4 including picking 5 upsets. YTD, Joey is 96-27 with 17 upsets picked. Joey will provide his picks of the week on Thursday as he does every week.  We will revise our Top25 every week thru the College Football Season..  twitter; @TheCupofJoeintheD   email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com    www.cupofjoeinthed.blogspot.com
