Here
is the CFB Top 25 Week 3, updated by Joey the CFB Cat Analyst and
also by CupofJoeintheD and recap of Week 2 of the CFB season
Biggest game of the week seen Oklahoma go into Columbus and down the Buckeyes to seek revenge for last years beat down in Norman. Once again Buckeyes HC Urban Meyer played the 1st half very conservative and lost a chance to have a big lead at half time. The Buckeyes were then badly outplayed in the 2nd half. In another Big game, Clemson continued to win big games as it downed upcoming Auburn to climb to the #2 position in my Weekly CFB Top 25. Georgia behind a true Freshman QB went into South Bend and beat the Fighting Irish to remain undefeated. Michigan who was a heavy favorite against Cincinnati had a hangover from their week 1 win and struggled against the BearCats before pulling away in the 4th quarter. Two MAC teams went on the road and won games they were suppose to lose as Eastern Michigan beat Rutgers to go 2-0 and Central Michigan 2-0 trounced the Kansas Jayhawks. Top QB's continue to shine as (Louisville) Lamar Jackson, (USC) Sam Darnold and (UCLA) Josh Rosen all had big games as their teams won going away. A few HC are on the hot seat but none more then Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin and the non professional conduct in the way the school and a board of regent member acted towards him not to mention the racist hate mail he received and the lack luster way the school reacted to come to his defense. I will post my Week 3 winners on Thursday afternoon. Remember, I generally only pick games whose point spreads are 7 points or less and always pick a minimum of 4 underdogs a week. Week 3 winners are; Texas, SDSU, MissState, Florida, Memphis, Vandy, UVA, NIU, Duke, BC, Clemson, OhioU, TTU, WKU, Toledo, Calif, Purdue, UK,
