Customer Service has gone to the wayside as a Company thinks it is their way or the Highway!!!!!
What a fiasco it was when an ordered pizza and cheese stix never showed up and yet We were charged on Our credit card for the order!!!!
Out of town Family members ordered a pizza and cheese
stix at 11:36
pm on Wed, July 22, 2015
from the Lake Orion Passport Pizza at phone number 248-814-9000 and were told
pizza would be delivered in 30-45 minutes. The order was placed on a credit
card and Passport Pizza charged the card members card $24.18.
The pizza and cheese stix order never
came even though they took the order and charged the credit card and said it
would be delivered. Numerous calls were placed to the phone listed above from 12:20 am until 12:40
am without anyone picking up.
On Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:15 am, I placed a call to the number
listed and a woman named Tara(n) answered and said she was a Manager and I
explained what happened, she then informed me they had no order for Wednesday
night from a Family Member, nor did their caller id show that the number called
from was on their called id, I gave her the last 4 digits of the Family
Member's credit card the pizza was
charged on and she said she would get back to me. In the meantime the Family
Member looked up her credit card info online and seen that Passport Pizza had indeed
charged her card the night before. I called back at 10:30 am and talked
to Tara(n) again and after she gave me the run around,
she put me on hold and a woman named Sue answered the phone. I ask Sue, 3x who
she was and finally she said she was the Supervisor and gave me a lame excuse
about the phone number 248.814.9000 was to a call center and that they made a
mistake in taking the order because they close at 11pm ( funny how they close at 11pm but yet took the call for the pizza at 11:36
pm and they had no issue charging the credit card at that time but never delivered the ordered pizza and cheese stix to us) After calling her out on
this, she then continued to bury herself deeper in contradiction by saying the
store closes at 10 pm not 11 pm, although the flyer they give out to everyone
clearly shows that they are open until midnight 7 days a week. Sue also said
she had just called back the Family Member's cell phone and left a message
which again was not true at all for the Family Member and her phone were right
next to Me. I had given Tara(n) my home number to call
which for some reason they did not feel this problem warranted a call back to
me. I asked her why they charged the credit card and didn't deliver the pizza
and she could give me no good reason. After I told Sue, I was thinking of going
to the Police Station and filing a report, she got very belligerent with me,
said I was threatening her, which I asked how? Passport Pizza took money by
charging a Family Members credit card yet never delivered the pizza and Cheese
stix as promised! She then said she was going to refund the $24.18 to the
Family Members card and continued to rant on and on. I then asked to speak to
an Owner(s) about this problem and she then informed me she was the Owner of
Passport Pizza. Amazing she went from Supervisor to Owner that fast, I never
did find out if she was a Supervisor or the Owner or it was just another
fallacy on Passport Pizza's part) !! I asked her how she was going to make this
up to my Family members who by the time this fiasco was discovered last night,
no other pizza places were open to deliver! She said she would give me $5 off
my next order and take it or leave it. I politely informed her that was a joke
for all the problems they caused and asked for them to deliver what was ordered
the night before and she told me in her rant that wasn't going to happen. I
stopped her, and told her that Lake Orion
is a very small tight knit Community who has many other pizza places and I
would make sure to tell those who asked about Passport Pizza what had
transpired and would not recommend them to anyone. She then went on another rant about how much
good they do in the Community for others. I told her that was very noble but
what did that have to do with this situation and how they took money from a
Family Member and never delivered the pizza? As she was yelling and ranting at
Me she hung up the phone in mid-sentence!!!
To have a Supervisor or if it is true an Owner of a Company act like
this, is so very unprofessional at the least, I would tell Everyone to stay
away from Passport Pizza. There are too many other Pizza places in the area
that truly care about providing good Customer Service when an issue arises that
was definitely the Companies fault!!!!! They say the Customer is always right,
which We all know sometimes is not true, but in this case the Customer was
right and yet Passport Pizza and their Customer Service skills were in the
wrong!!!!!!!!!! But don;t tell this to Sue and Passport Pizza for to them, the Customer is never right for the Customer is always in the wrong!!!!!!!!! @cupofjoeinthed
