DeflateGate Report Tarnishes Tom Brady's Golden Boy Image!!!!!!

The long awaited Deflategate investigative report and findings were released yesterday by attorney Ted Wells for the NFL. A very long and detailed report whose findings concluded what many of us concluded months ago was that Tom Brady probably knew and was aware of the tampered with and deflated footballs. I wrote in my blog, a post right after DeflateGate was uncovered and had suspicions of what may of actually happened but like everyone else waited with baited breath for the NFL's report on DeflateGate. Ironic how the report came out the week after the NFL Draft. I said then and I say again, the Golden Boy image of Tom Brady has been tarnished to the point that He will at some point soon have to respond to the report and He will have to respond to His lying and what He actually knew. I am sure His PR team will give Him a well written response to this and He will as He always does stand in front of the camera and portray to everyone the Golden Boy image as He has for many years. But this time, the question has become, can We really believe him? can he ever be trusted again?  His loyal fans and the Patriots will stand behind him no doubt, but it is all the others that He will have to try and convince about His actions. His image is badly tarnished and his credibility and integrity are gone! I agree with the report as to not truly knowing if the deflating of the 11 footballs gave the Patriots a competitive edge or not? What I do know is that the coverup and all the lies are the bigger issue. Brady on numerous occasions refused to turn over his phone records, text messages, and also emails. He also according to reports called the charges ridiculous and lied to the Patriots Organization and Coach Bill Belichick when asked if He knew or was involved with the tampering of the footballs. Belichick was also unbelievable when he tried to offer up scientific proof as to why the footballs mysterious deflated themselves!  But make no mistake about this, this mess is all about Tom Brady and the Patriots employees involved ( locker room attendant Jim McNally) and (equipment assistant John Jastremski). The report doesn't implicate Bill Belichick at all, this is all Tom Brady's doing! The cover up and lies are damning to say the least for Tom Brady and to an extent the Patriots organization. Robert Kraft (Patriots Owner) from day 1 has demanded a public apology for if you remember, the Patriots did their own investigation which found no wrong doing whatsoever from anyone in the organization including Tom Brady! Well correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe Tom Brady and also Jim McNally and John Jastremski are all employees of the New England Patriots and I have to question if there may of also been an alleged coverup by the Patriots during their own internal investigation that for some reason never found any of the evidence that the NFL's investigation uncovered. There is no question in regards to Brady's athletic ability or winning 4 Super Bowls or His impressive playoff record. What has now been called into question is his credibility and integrity and will We ever be able to listen to him and believe what he says when we now know that he lied and covered up and obstructed and hindered an investigation into something so stupid and ridiculous, one has to wonder why Brady and McNally and Jastremski felt compelled to even do this? Now comes the million dollar question, what will the NFL do to restore the integrity of the game and clear up this mess for this has also tarnished the image and integrity of the NFL and I am sure all the other NFL Teams and Owners are looking at Roger Goodell and the NFL to see what kind of punishment and discipline they will dole out to ensure foolishness and stupidity like this are not repeated. This is a good time for the NFL to restore the fans faith in them and the game and make an example of Brady and the Patriots. I do not know about you and your thoughts on this but in talking to many fans around the country since my post on this back after the incident happened in January, many think of the Patriots as the most dishonest team in all Pro Sports (ie: Spygate) and think that the relationship between Goodell and Kraft is one of BFF's and that the NFL will not do anything worthwhile as a deterrent. I think Mr. McNally and Mr. Jastremski should be fired immediately and the Mr. Brady receive a year long suspension (without pay) and the Patriots also receive a huge fine and loss of draft picks. As I said then and I say again now, Tick Tock Mr, Goodell, You and the NFL are on the Clock!!! Do what is right to restore the integrity of the game and remove this Black Eye from the NFL!!!!                                         @cupofjoeinthed
