On Sunday, we seen many teams playing through the motions, other teams playing hard but struggling, players getting injured and a few games where the teams put it all out there as some made the playoffs and others came up just short and will watch from the sidelines. Interesting tidbits that came out of Sundays games were: Who will be the starting QB for the Houston Texans in their 1st playoff game? Will it be Matt Goins or rookie Connor Cook as the Raiders QB? Was this Kirk Cousins last game as Redskins QB or will they do the right thing and sign him long term? You can't put all the blame on him, the Redskins running game was non existent and their OL looked like swiss cheese against the Giants defense. Will the Officiating be better in the Playoffs? Actually it has to be, it can't get any worse then it was yesterday and this past season. Will we see teams playing smart physical football and stop being so friendly with each other during the games? Will players stop being crybabies and using social media to complain about who is the dirtiest player in football (A certain player called out Suh yesterday, funny thing is that Suh is the Bill Laimbeer of the NFL, most hate him but all want him on their team). Broncos CB Aqib Talib, not a stranger to controversy, deliberately ripped off a gold chain from the neck of Raiders WR Crabtree right in front of an official and once again the officials stood by and watched. After the game, Talib looking like Mr T in his gold, looked foolish in his explanation. Hey Mr. Talib, talk all you want, but last time I looked, You will be home while the Raiders are in the Playoffs this season. The Patriots signing of ex Cardinals WR Floyd might just be the added piece they need for another run for Super Bowl 51. Also a thank you to the NY Giants for playing most of their starters the whole game against the Washington Redskins and giving the fans a true game to watch when they could of played their backups all game long like some NFL teams did yesterday.
Hey NBC, when did you hire the Green Bay Packers announcers Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth to do your Sunday night games? Need announcers that are impartial not 90-95% Packers and Aaron Rodgers slappies.
