NHL 2016-2017 Season Team Predictions

The NHL Season is finally here with excitement in the air as Fans get ready for another year of rooting for their favorite team(s) and player(s) and have hopes of seeing their Team hoisting the Stanley Cup. Some Teams got better, some stayed about the same as last year and a few teams will remain in the bottom as cellar dwellers again.  Katie, in her 2nd season as the NHL Analyst for the CupofJoeintheD Sports Group, which already includes Joey (NCAA and CFB Analyst) and also Cooper (NFL Analyst). Katie correctly predicted both teams in the Stanley Cup Finals last season and the winner was also correctly picked in the Pittsburgh Penguins. Katie is the Cousin  to Joey and Cooper.  Good luck to Everyone and to all the Teams this Season.  Katie will be providing updates and articles on the Hockey Season as the Season progresses. This season will see the Detroit Red Wings playing in Joe Louis Arena for the last time as they will usher in next season, the new and Magnificent Little Caesars Arena. Also, the Red Wings who have made the playoffs 25 straight years will struggle but they will be the 7th or 8th seed in the NHL Eastern Conference.
This seasons Stanley Cup finals will be between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Dallas Stars with the Lightning winning in 6 games.
