Here
is the CFB Top 25 Week 8, updated by Joey the CFB Cat Analyst and
also by CupofJoeintheD and recap of Week 7 of the CFB season
Biggest game of the week 7 seen #2 Ohio State beat #8 Wisconsin in OT in a game that was dominated by Wisconsin early but too blown chances to score points and the Buckeyes rallied for the win. #1 Alabama again put on a display in trouncing #9 Tennessee in Knoxville. Both Clemson and Louisville struggled but still won their games. Boise State and West Virginia and Baylor all kept their perfect seasons intact and Western Michigan from the MAC won again to remain
undefeated. Notre Dame a preseason Top 10 team, lost for the 5th time in 7 games and some are calling for HC Brian Kelly to be fired. Texas beat a bad Iowa State team but HC Charlie Strong is still on the hot seat. Unfortunately at Texas as it was at LSU, the Boosters have way too much influence in the athletic departments as they choose who Coaches and how these schools athletic departments are run. Vanderbilt beat Georgia in an upset and the 1st firing of a Power 5 conference came as Purdue fired their Head Coach. The SEC and B1G seem to be the top 2 of the Power 5 conferences this season as evidenced by the Top 10 teams. Joey
Baloney went 14-3 in week 7,
including picking 3 upset winners and is 105-24 after 7 weeks,
including picking 30 upset winners. Winners for week 8 are: VT, Troy,Temple, Northwestern, KSU, Wisconsin, UNC, Purdue, Syr, Tulsa, MTSU, Auburn, Vandy, UCLA, SMU, PSU We will revise our Top 25 every week
