NFL Power Rankings Week 4 and Recap

The NFL Power Rankings and Recap after week 3 of the Season. The Young QB's especially the rookie QB's once again shined and are the stars in the headlines. The Eagles Carson Wentz, shredded the Steelers  and the Eagles behind a stout defense crushed the Steelers in a battle of undefeated teams in Philly. The Patriots behind 3rd string rookie QB Jacoby Brissett shutout the Texans to go to 3-0  in a season so far without star QB Tom Brady.  In the most surprising game of the week was the Buffalo Bills manhandling the Cardinals in a game that took a bit of the heat off of HC Rex Ryan. The surging Vikings playing with start RB Adrian Peterson and QB Teddy Bridgewater went into Carolina and behind what looks like to be the best defense in the NFL this year slammed the door on the Panthers. The Packers at home for the 1st time this season built a huge lead on the Lions before hanging on just enough to win their 1st game of the year. The Cowboys looking more and more comfortable with rookie QB Dak Prescott rolled over the helpless and hapless Bears Sunday night.  The Dolphins at home needed OT to beat Cleveland and keep the Browns winless. The Seahawks behind a banged up Russell Wilson beat up the 49ers. In the Monday night game, the Falcons won a shootout over Drew Brees and the winless Saints. The Chiefs cruised past the NY Jets in a game where the Jets turned the ball over 8 times including 6 int's by QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Redskins behind QB Kirk Cousins went into the Meadowlands and beat the NY Giants, handing the Giants their 1st loss of the year as Washington won their 1st game also. More star players went down this past weekend, mainly RB's and numerous teams are so banged up they are having to piecemeal their teams just hoping to make it thru a game without losing more players.  The first of 3 games played in England happens this Sunday when the Colts and Jaguars square off  and the first weekend of the bye week also happens as well. This will give teams  a chance to start getting an extra week of rest to help with the bumps and bruises of the NFL Season. Cooper went 10-6 in his week 3 picks and is 36-12 for the season   We will continue to post His record for each weekend and season total.                                                                                                                      twitter; @cupofjoeinthed    email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com
