The NFL Season is officially underway and Week #1 showed everyone why the NFL is the most watched sport. The Seasons first week showed us all why once again the Pre-Season doesn't mean anything at all! The much awaited return of Tom Brady kicked off the 1st game and it wasn't much of a game, Brady and the Pats beat the Steelers. The much anticipated match up between Tennessee with Mariota and Tampa Bay with Winston was won by the Titans and Mariota out played Winston badly. The Chiefs, Bills, Bengals, Pats stood out as big winners in week #1. While the Colts, Raiders, Browns and Bucs stunk up the joint. While it is only week #1 and there are 15 more games to go, some teams stood out, some teams looked good and bad and some teams looked pathetic to say the least. Throughout the Preseason and thru week #1, some teams and players encountered serious and devastating injuries which could and will impact their seasons. The Texans started Brian Hoer as QB but midway through the 3rd quarter changed QB's and even though Ryan Mallette did some good things when He came in, he also came into a game that was already over and KC was playing a soft defense the whole second half! I believe Head Coach Bill O'Brien sent the wrong message to his team and fans indicating He will make the decision this week as to who is the starter in game #2. If Hoyer outplayed Mallette throughout the Preseason and you picked him as your starting QB, then stay with him as your starting QB! Your offense was bad, very bad, including your OL that let the Chiefs in all day long. Key players that stood out in week #1 were; Ivory (Jets), Allen (SD), Hyde (SF), Gronkowski (Pats), Hill (Bengals), Rodgers (GB), Jones (Falcons), Rivers (SD), Smith (KC), Rodgers (GB), Palmer (Cardinals). Enjoy the NFL and We will recap and updatethe Power rankings each and every week. Here are the first weeks NFL Team Power Rankings!!! @cupofjoeinthed
