NFL Week 2 Picks by Cooper the Analyst and Cup of Joe in the D

           It is Week 2 of the 2024 NFL Season !!! Cooper the NFL Analyst is Back for His 8th Season Picking Games! Thursday Night opens up with the Buffalo Bills visiting the Miami Dolphins in a game of both undefeated Teams. The NFL opened the season on last Thursday night with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Baltimore Ravens on a toe on the line win. Both these teams are looking like the cream of the AFC. Friday's NFL Game was played in Brazil and it was another Dog Fight that had the Eagles coming out on top of the Packers. There were many real good games it Week 1 and some real snoozers... Detroit won the rematch of last Season Playoff game with the Rams in OT. The Saints beat down the lowly Panthers and the Cowboys destroyed the Browns in Cleveland. Miami and Buffalo and the Bears all came back and won their openers. Injuries also played a huge role in the Opening week as the Packers lost QB Love for a minimum of 4 weeks and the Rams lost WR Puka Nacua as He was placed on IR.

      The NFL made 3 huge changes to the game this year. first they changed the kickoff to a stupid format which is a joke, second they outlawed the way players have tackled for decades and third teams can only try on on sides kick in the 4th quarter and only after they let the other team know they are going to try an on sides kick.. The NFL once again also screwed over its Fans by now putting Games only on Amazon Prime and Peacock just so the Owners can make more money at the expense of the Fans! 

     Officiating has been poor at best the past few seasons and it seems that  replay is being used on almost every other play. Will this be the Season where the NFL Officials get it right or will we continue down the slippery slope of Officials costing teams games like the have the past few seasons?

     Cooper has picked the Super Bowl Champion the last 3 years in a row.

     Each year, every team and their fans are optimistic that this will be their year to win the Super Bowl. There are the contenders, the so so's and the pretenders. Start of the season Contenders this season will be in the AFC; Chiefs, Bills, Dolphins and Ravens.  In the NFC;  Lions, 49ers, Eagles and Falcons. Up and Coming Teams are the Packers, Texans, Commandeers and Bengals. The pretenders will be; Jets, Jaguars, Panthers, Cardinals, Patriots . Surprise teams are: Steelers, Jaguars, Colt, Rams, Bears and Eagles.
