The Final Four is now set as the 4 teams will make their way to New Orleans. The Final Four is made up of the
following; #2 seed Duke out of the West, #8 seed North Carolina from
the East, #1 seed Kansas out of the MidWest and #2 seed Villanova
from the South
Region. As the dust has settled in the past 2 weekends of games, 60
teams have been eliminated and these 4 teams are still standing.
Kansas is the favorite to win it all, but I have Duke
claiming the National Championship. North Carolina is the surprise team of the
Tournament so far and has looked like the team to beat and Villanova is playing great Basketball but lost one of its top players in the Elite Eight..
- So will Coach K win and make it to the Title Game on Monday?
- Will North Carolina continue its run and beat Duke for 2nd time in a month?
- Can Villanova upset Kansas without star player Justin Moore?
- Will Kansas the only #1 seed remaining get back to the Championship Game since 2012?
Side Notes:
- What was Xavier thinking in hiring Sean Miller as Head Coach after the Scandal He had at Arizona?
- Why was LSU allowed to play in the NCAA Tournament knowing that the School and then HC Wade were involved in 11 NCAA Violations dating back to 2019? So may Players have entered the Transfer portal, will the School even have a competitive team for next season?
- Why is Penny Hardaway still the HC at Memphis? He was named as the only person in the NCAA Notice of Allegations which totaled 4 Level 1 and 2 Level 2 Violations!
So it is Final Four
time, players and fans alike are getting excited. All 4 teams have a
chance to get to the Championship Game and One of them will be crowned
the Winner. Its been a long couple of weeks as many had their favorite
teams beat, their Brackets busted early on and yet We all will be
watching the games on Saturday and the following Monday with baited
breath.
It has been another fantastic March Madness for Joey
Baloney, the NCAA Basketball Analyst. Joey is 50-10 in the Tournament so
far with the Final 3 games to go. He has 3 teams left in the Final
Four.
