NFL Week 2 Picks by Cooper the Analyst and Cup of Joe in the D

The 2021 NFL Football Season has kicked off with a bang!! Many exciting endings and late game heroics..  Week 2 kicks off with the NY Giants traveling to face the Washington Football Team. Both teams lost their first game and Washington lost starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick for an extended period of time with a hip injury.

The NFL is back allowing full capacity of fans to start the season but have also implemented tough Covid standards that Teams must follow all season.  Some teams are fully vaccinated while others have Players refusing to be vaccinated. Teams that have un-vaccinated Players risk costing their teams a loss and also no paycheck for that week.

Each year, every team and their fans are optimistic that this will be their year to win the Super Bowl. There are the contenders, the so so's and the pretenders. Start of the season Contenders this season will be in the AFC; Chiefs, Bills, Titans and Colts.  In the NFC;  Packers, Rams, 49ers and Bucs. Up and Coming Teams are the Browns, Seahawks, Patriots, Ravens The pretenders will be; Jets, Bengals, Jaguars, Panthers, Giants and Bears. Surprise teams are:  Steelers, Saints, Dolphins, Cardinals and Redskins.

    Here are this weeks Questions:

  • Can Stafford and Winston and Murray continue their hot starts to the Season?
  • Which New York team in going to get their first win?
  • Is the adding of an extra regular season game to the schedule a good or bad thing?
  • Will the Cowboys Defense ever show up?
  • Will Rodgers and the Packers rebound against the Lions this on Monday Night?
  • Will Cam Newton get another chance to play in the NFL?
  • Will Someone besides a QB ever win the MVP again?
  • Can the Steelers Defense carry their team all season long?
  • How long will Watson remain a Texans? Are the Texans serious about wanting 6 assets for Watson?
  • Who was the Biggest Surprise and Biggest Disappointment in Week 1?
  • Will the Browns step up and be a Top Echelon Team this Season?
