Breaking News!!!! Cleveland Browns Myles Garrett in the last seconds of a win, tried to hurt Steelers QB Mason Rudolph by ripping his helmet off and hitting him on the head with the helmet. The Cleveland Browns need to initiate their own suspension of Garrett while the NFL decides how many games his actions warranted...This is the 3rd time this season He has done something stupid and this personal foul should result in a year long suspension... The NFL just suspended him indefinitely thru the end of the Season....... More to Come!!!!!!!
NFL Football Week 11 is Here!!!! The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) visit the Cleveland Browns (3-6) on Thursday Night Football. The Browns need to win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive while the Steelers, winners of 4 straight try to continue their winning ways. This game should come down to who can run the ball better and which teams doesn't turn it over. Cleveland needs to find a way to get Odell Beckham jr. more involved in the offense and continue to find ways to implement RB Kareem Hunt in both the running and passing game.
The Sunday early games kickoff with the Colts hosting the Jaguars in a battle of AFC South teams battling to stay close to the first place Texans. Jaguars QB Nick Foles is returning after being out since Week 1 with a shoulder injury. The Colts are hoping to get QB Brissett back for the game. Denver travels to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, who have beat the Cowboys on the road and the Broncos are pretty much playing out the season with their backup QB. Detroit hosts the Cowboys in a must win game for Dallas and HC Jason Garrett while the Lions will again be without QB Matt Stafford who is out with fractured bones in his back. The Falcons travel to Carolina. Atlanta fresh off a dominate win against the Saints that may of saved HC Dan Quinn's job, face a Panther team that is struggling and have shut down QB Newton for the rest of the season. Cam Newton might have played his last game in a Panthers uniform and has asked for a trade.
Other Sunday games include a snoozer of a game between the Redskins and NY Jets played in Washington. Both teams are battling for a Top 3 pick in next years NFL Draft. In what should be the most entertaining game of the week, Baltimore plays host to the Texans in a game showcasing 2 of the top QB's in the league this year. QB's Lamar Jackson and DeShaun Jackson are two of the next generation duo threat QB's taking the league by storm. This game has all the indications of a high scoring shootout. The Saints travel to Tampa Bay. New Orleans who lost last weekend face a Buccaneers team who can score at will but also turn the ball over and have issues stopping teams from scoring. Buffalo visits the Dolphins in an AFC East game. The Bills are fighting for a playoff spot while Miami who has a couple of wins is still vying for a Top 5 Draft pick next year.
The late Sunday games kick off with the first place 49ers hosting the last place Cardinals. San Francisco who lost for the first time on Monday night faces Arizona who just a few weeks ago took the 49ers to the end in a loss. The winless Bengals travel to Oakland to face the Raiders who are winners of 2 straight games. Cincinnati switched to backup QB Ryan Finley and hope to get WR AJ Green back for the first time this season. The Patriots visit the Eagles in a game that should be a hard hitting low scoring affair. Both teams defenses are tough and both teams offenses have struggled badly at times this season. The Sunday night game features the Chicago Bears at the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams who offense is in disarray and the OL banged up face a Bears team with a great defense and an anemic offense. Look for a very low scoring game filled with turnovers.
On Monday night, the first place Kansas City Chiefs are at the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs who have Mahomes back and can score easily, have glaring issues on Special Teams and on defense while the Chargers have been disappointing at best this season.
The NFC North is without doubt the toughest Division is all of Football...
On a side note this week in the NFL, ex player Antonio Brown is in NY to have a meeting in regards to alleged sexual misconduct by Brown. This issue goes much deeper as by Browns own tweets, He seems to be going off the deep end one moment tweeting a very disturbing tweet and the next moment apologizing for it. Also the NFL is having a one day tryout camp for ex QB Colin Kaepernick on Saturday for all interested NFL teams. This seems like nothing more than a PR stunt by the NFL to appease all the bad public opinion against them in regard the NFL,claims they could only do this on a Saturday yet they could of done this all season long when teams were in London and their facilities would be open on Tuesday when it is a day off where GMs and Coaches could of traveled to watch Kaepernick.
The season is a bit over a 1/2 of the way thru and only a handful of
teams are showing they are the front runners to get to Super Bowl LIV.
They are the Patriots,Packers,49ers, Ravens and Saints. Next tier of teams
are the Vikings, Chiefs, Texans and Seahawks . Surprise teams this season are
the 49ers, Bills, Seahawks, and Colts. Biggest disappointments
so far are the Bears, Browns, Falcons, Chargers and Titans. Teams that
appear to be vying for next years #1 draft pick are the Dolphins,
Bengals, Falcons NY Jets and NY Giants and Redskins.
