Super Bowl LIII Preview and Prediction by NFL Analyst Cooper

It is officially here, Super Bowl 53 is just one day away and already there is so much talk about the New England Patriots and winning the game will give both Head Coach Bill Belichick and Tom Brady records for most Super Bowl wins in history. The Patriots are currently 2.5 point favorites over the underdog Los Angeles Rams. The Patriots who are 13-5 including 2-0 in the playoffs this season have rolled the playoffs as well.  They have thrived as playing the under dog in their road game against the Chiefs.  The Rams are 15-3 and also 2-0 in the playoffs this season and the underdog in the Super Bowl.  The game will pit two of the best teams during the NFL season and both deserving to be here. Both teams had similar Playoff runs to reach the Super Bowl.  The biggest question will be, can the Rams win behind young gunslinger Jared Goff or will the Patriots again win it all with QB Tom Brady leading them to another Super Bowl win. Both teams are well rested and the weather will not be a factor as the game is inside the Mercedes Stadium in Atlanta.
The Patriots on offense rely mostly on QB Brady's quick throws and a balanced running game with James White and Sonny Michel. They rely on dominating the time of possession and did so handily in both of their wins against the Chargers and Chiefs.  The Patriots rely heavily on crossing routes and legal pick plays to open up the middle of the field. TE Gronkowski and WR Julian Edelman are the two favorite receivers for Brady to throw to.  The defense which was lit up early in the season has settled down into a bend but don't break style of defense that has worked out nicely for the Patriots throughout the last 10 games of the season. The OL will have its hands full in trying to stop the front 7 of the Rams and give Brady time to throw the football. The big question is whether the Pats OL can dominate the talented DL of the Rams and move the ball on the ground and through play action passing. I am sure Brady is salivating, picturing which Pats receiver will be covered by Rams DB Robey-Coleman who had numerous blown assignment against the Saints.
The Rams are also a very balanced football team and  have relied on both Gurley and Anderson as a 1-2 punch running the ball. QB Goff has two talented WR's in both Brandin Cooks and Robert Cooks. The Rams OL will need to establish itself in the trenches and Gurley needs to show his injured knee is fully healed. On defense the defense the DL needs to establish a pass rush and get to Brady early and often if they want to win. The LB's will need to take away the middle of the field in passing situations as well as covering the RB's that catch the ball out of the backfield allot of the time. HC McVay in his first Super Bowl is the youngest HC ever to coach in the game. It will come down to his defense shutting the Patriots down and his explosive offense making the big plays often in this game if they want to win.
Looking at this game, these are 2 very high powered explosive offenses capable of putting up a lot of points and defenses that have proven themselves all season long.  Both the Patriots and Rams are relatively healthy and this game could go many ways. The game could be a high scoring last team with the game winner having the ball last, a defensive struggle, a blowout, a game of turnovers or whose special teams step up. Both teams are built for years of success with different styles of play but both have shown resiliency in winning many games this year. Many also are looking forward to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to ensure their won't be another blown call in this game as their was in the NFC Championship Game.
Cooper the NFL Analyst is picking the Los Angeles Rams to win 27-24. He thanks you for following him in another fantastic season.
