NFL Power Rankings Week 3 and Week 2 Recap

The NFL Power Rankings  for week 3 and Recap after week 2 of the Season.  New England rebounded from the week 1 loss to trounce the Saints who are now 0-2 with no defense at all. The Chiefs had a relative easy time beating the Eagles to remain the #1 team in the Power Rankings. Oakland took down the lifeless NY Jets to go to 2-0.  The Steelers won handily at home against the Vikings who played without starting QB Bradford, who sat out with a knee injury. In a game of just FG's, the Panthers defeated Buffalo to also go to 2-0.  Arizona beat the Colts in OT in a game where both teams played liked it will be a long season for their fans alike. Tennessee walked all over the Jaguars. Tampa Bay playing their 1st game since Hurricane Irma, drilled the Bears. The Dolphins who also were playing their 1st game of the season came from behind to edge the Chargers in Los Angeles. Denver beat down the Cowboys in a game that saw Dallas star RB Ezekiel Elliott not give 100% effort and possibly quit on his teammates in this game.
The Sunday night game saw a rematch of last years NFC Championship Game and the results were the same. The Falcons throttled the Packers and just as it was last season for a good part of it, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers put up gaudy meaningless stats when the game was so far out of reach.
On Monday night, the surprising upstart Lions went into New York and downed the Giants to go to 2-0. The Giants are now 0-2 and their offense looks discombobulated at best. Injuries again played a huge part in this past weekends games as receivers and running backs and OL and DL guys went out, some with minor injuries and others will possible season ending injuries.  Cooper went 11-5 and CupofJoeintheD went 13-3 in week 2 picks. YTD, Cooper is 22-9 and CupofJoeintheD is 24-7. We will continue to post His record for each weekend and season total.  twitter; @cupofjoeinthed   email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com    www.cupofjoeinthed.blogspot.com
