Week 12 CFB Top25 and Recap by Joey the Cat and CupofJoeintheD

Here is the new CFB Top 25 after week 11, updated by Joey the CFB Cat Analyst and also by CupofJoeintheD. Joey the CFB Cat Analyst was 12-3 in his picks this past weekend including picking 4 upsets in week 10. Joey is 139-33  including picking 35 upsets so far this season. His upset picks were; MSU ( hot pick of the week ) as well as, UCLA, Temple, Citadel. With only a few weeks left before the final Playoff teams will be announced, the Top 10 will change every week, unlike the Official CFB 25, mine is not politically motivated  and based on what teams do each week, This week I have MSU back into the top 4 due to they have beaten #3 OSU, #12 Michigan #18 Oregon and will face #3 Iowa in 2 weeks. MSU also has played most of the season with backups in most positions due to injuries and on Saturday totally dominated OSU on both sides of the ball including using 2 backup QB's. Once again Mark Dantonio had his Spartans ready to win the big game! Unlike Alabama whose wins against LSU and Georgia are less impressive now that both LSU and Georgia have fallen out of the Top 25 and their loss to Ole Miss who is now in the lower end of the Top 25. . Both ND and Iowa have not beaten any top Caliber teams this year so their records are a bit distorted. OSU had not played anyone in the Top 10 until they played MSU last Saturday and got beaten down. Whomever out of Iowa and MSU wins the B1G Championship will and should have a place in the Top 4 Playoff teams. I also believe for Clemson to be in the Playoffs they also need to win out in their Championship game as does Alabama. ND needs to play a tougher schedule and whether they like it or not, they need to be part of the ACC full time. Outside of Clemson they have played no one else within the Top 15 and they lost to Clemson. Upset picks for this week are; TCU, WMU, Houston, Washington, Kentucky. Pick of the week is Ohio State and MSU and Stanford  .
