The NFL and Roger Goodell have a chance to right all the wrongs that have happened in the NFL recently but they need to move swiftly and do the right things in doing so. All the issues that continue to plague the NFL and cause Black Eye after Black Eye need to be addressed and punishments doled out to fit the issues, It has been 10 days since the Super Bowl and once again look how quiet the NFL and Goodell have been? No mention of DeflateGate or how the ongoing investigation is going, I wonder why? No mention of working with the Players Association to find a common agreement on numerous issues, I wonder why? No mention of the potential issues in Cleveland and the alleged text messaging between the GM and Coaches on field during a game, I wonder why? Now, we have Greg Hardy (DE of the Carolina Panthers) and the charge of domestic violence, which just yesterday was dismissed by the prosecution in NC not because there wasn't enough evidence, there was plenty of evidence against him, but because he paid his accuser allot of money to be quiet and she refused to make herself available in the case. Surprise, Surprise that Greg Hardy would do this! Now he expects the NFL to not suspend him or give him any repercussions for this act of cowardice. He thinks that by buying his way out of this situation, he should be able to move on like nothing happened. Here is the perfect example of the time for the NFL and Roger Goodell to stand up and do what is right not just for the NFL but to do what is right in life. I do not know Greg Hardy at all, but if you read the reports on this domestic abuse charge that was levied against him, the NFL needs to stand up and say enough is enough! This is a very precarious time for the NFL right now in the eyes of many including myself for the way the NFL has handled numerous issues in the recent past with kid gloves and made terrible decisions in regards to the decisions it has made and also its decisions to not do anything on certain issues that has caused the Fans, Media, and the Public, to call into question the integrity of the game of football. It seems that certain teams and players are treated differently than others in the NFL. Also, the NFL and Goodell seem to try to bury certain issues under the rug and just hope with time they all go away and seem to think that all of us are stupid and foolish. I hope all the quietness with the NFL and Goodell right now is because they are in a huge conference room coming up with solutions to all these issues that will restore the faith and integrity of the NFL. But as we all know, only time will tell with the NFL and Goodell as to if they will make things right . As everyone knows, my saying to the NFL and Roger Goodell is this;
