Big 10 celebrates Big Time Wins on New Years Day!!!!

The Big Ten showed everyone in the nation that the conference was every bit as good and even better than  the supposedly powerhouse SEC and Big 12 conferences. The Big Ten was called out for not being as competitive, not fast enough , didn't have the best athletes and talent and couldn't hang or beat the Big Boys in the so called power conferences. All the colleges sports gurus and fans boasted that on New Years Day, we all would see the Big 10 takes it lumps and the loses in the Big Money Bowl games would validate their point that the Big 10 is not as good as the other Big Football conferences. Funny things happened on New Years Day, Wisconsin beat Auburn in a real good game. MSU came back in perhaps the most exciting finish in a college bowl game in a long time and beat Baylor. Let's not forget, Baylor was favored and allot of the Sports geniuses all over the country even predicted a Baylor blowout. The only thing that was blown out was the air in the sails of  Baylor and All who thought Baylor should of been in the college championship 4 game format. Yes, Baylor was explosive on offense but as everyone could see, couldn't stop the run and choked late in the 4th quarter when the game was on the line. As for Alabama, no one and I mean no one gave OSU a chance at all against the so called invincible Kings of College football except those in the Big 10 and the state of Ohio. This game shouldn't of even been as close as it was if OSU had scored on the drives that resulted in short FG's early on and also take away the early miscues, OSU would of won by 17 points if not more. OSU dominated this game where it counted the most, in the trenches, they were more physical, better at the run game and total yards and at the end they wanted it more than Alabama. Urban Meyers flat out, out coached Nick Saban. All the boasting by these so called Powerhouse teams and their conferences couldn't be backed up when it counted on the field on New Years Day.  Now as they all sit back and reflect on their losses , all I hear now is allot of clucking and no more boasting and oh yes the every famous saying, "just wait till next year" !!!!! Hail the Big 10 and showing Everyone that they truly are the Powerhouse conference
