NFL Wild Card Weekend is Here.. My Picks and Thoughts

NFL Wild Card Weekend is Here! !5 more weeks of the 2019 NFL Season until Super Bowl LIV.
NFL Black Monday kicked off the week as some team have fired their Head Coaches and are looking to find the next Top HC to guide their teams. Lots of New and Drama surrounds Wild Card Weekend. Here are My Thoughts on the Season and Wild Card Weekend....

  • Jerry Jones and the Cowboys once again top the Headlines with the way He is making this Coaching move all about himself. Everyone knows He is letting Jason Garrett go but He is prolonging it to make sure Garrett doesn't go coach another top team.
  • Jimmy Haslam and the Browns once again let a HC Coach go.. So many HC's fired in the last 6 season it  makes your head spin. What is even more baffling is the letting go of GM Dorsey who acquired top talent thru the draft, trades and Free Agency. He is the 2nd coming of Jerry Jones in meddling in the daily operations of the team.
  • Baker Mayfield still thinks He is in College and can say and do what he wants when he wants. He is still very immature and is not even close to being a true leader of the team!!!
  • Antonio Brown claims His tryout with the Saints was nothing more than a Publicity stunt and He was right.. But it was Brown who tried to upstage his workout by bringing a camera crew and a Posse with him when He was told not too..So much talent wasted by Browns own choice.
  • The Detroit Lions announced GM Bob Quinn and HC Matt Patricia will be back for the 2020 season much to the dismay of diehard Lions fans... Detroit also purge almost the whole Coaching staff except for their OC Bevell. The 2020 season will be put up or shut time for GM Quinn and HC Patricia.
  • The Atlanta Falcons also have brought back their HC Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff..
  • Does the NFL need to look at how teams get into the NFL Playoffs and not let a team with a .500 record or losing record win the Division or host a home Playoff game?
  • The Patriots once again allegedly got caught taping another NFL Team, should the NFL hammer them as multiple repeat offender?
  • Did the Jaguars and Owner Shad Kahn wait too long to fire GM Tom Coughlin and lose to many top players and can they overcome how the NFL sees the mess He left behind?
  • Is Ron Rivera already regretting becoming the next HC of the Redskins? Owner Dan Snyder has taken a once proud Franchise and ran it into the ground year after year.
  • Will the Giants get it right in hiring their next HC?
  • When will the NFL and its Owners get it through their heads it takes more than a year for a new HC to get a team molded to a new culture and a winning record?
  • Anyone else find it ironic that Panthers QB Cam Newton waited until the day after Ron  Rivera got fired to decide to have foot surgery?
  • Are Browns WR Odell Beckhams days numbered in Cleveland after He admitted to talking to opposing teams in October asking for them to trade for him?
  • Has Nick Foles played his last game in Jacksonville after being benched?
  • Can the Patriots get back to the Super Bowl with the current offense they have?
  • Has Tom Brady lost some of the skills that made him an elite QB?
  • Has Jameis Winston thrown his last pass in Tampa Bay?
  • Why did the Colts throw their QB under the Bus after the end of the season? Not giving him a vote of confidence as their starting QB for the 2020 season was jsut stupid!!!
  • It looks like Colin Kaepernick has played his last game in the NFL, has Antonio Brown also played in his last game?
  • Can Lamar Jackson continue to run like a RB and avoid taking the big hit? Or is He one hit away from a serious injury?
  • Lamar Jackson looks like the MVP of the NFL this season hands down....
  • Ravens look like the geniuses of the past 5 NFL Drafts by taking QB Jackson in 2018.
  • Green Bay is having a good season but Rodgers struggles against good defenses, will this continue into the Playoffs?
  • Do the Steelers really think 3rd string QB Hodges is better than Mason Rudolph? Or is there more to the story?
  • Is the era of the drop back QB slowly dying off in the NFL and replaced with the dual threat?
  • Will we see a rematch of the Ravens and 49'ers in the Super Bowl in Miami?
  • When will the NFL actually fix the officiating?
     NFL Wild Card Weekend Thoughts:
  • Can the Patriots and QB Brady overcome an average at best offense and beat the Titans?
  • How much gas is still left in the Patriots tank? Is this the end of the Pats dynasty?
  • Will the Titans and their run game topple the Patriots?
  • Will the Bills behind their stout defense and QB Allen go into Houston and take care of business against the Texans and Top QB Deshaun Watson?
  • Can the Vikings win a big game with QB Kirk Cousins or will the Saints behind QB Drew Brees walk all over Minnesota in the Superdome?
  • The Eagles look to continue winning behind TE's and a strong RB and backup to backup WR's, can they beat the Seahawks and QB Wilson?

The NFC East was without doubt the worst Division in all of Football...

The season is over and 12 teams are vying for Super Bowl LIV. The Top seeds are the 49ers in the NFC and the Ravens in the AFC.    Biggest disappointments so far are the Bears, Browns, Falcons, Chargers. Teams that appear to be vying for next years Top 5 draft pick are the Dolphins, Bengals, NY Giants, Lions and Redskins.
