NFL Week 11 Picks by Cooper NFL Analyst and Cup of Joe in the D

NFL Football Week 11 begins with a match up of two NFC South teams, when the New Orleans Saints (4-5) visit the Carolina Panthers (3-6). Both teams lost heart breaking games at home in the last minute last Sunday, look to get back on track tonight. New Orleans has been a bit of a surprise putting up big offensive numbers and having a defense that is getting better every week while the Panthers have struggled all season long on both sides of the ball and are currently in last place in the Division.
In the early games on Sunday, Arizona travels to Minnesota seeking their 4th straight win while the Vikings are looking to avoid their 5th straight loss. The Vikings cut long time place kicker Blair Walsh this week after He missed his 4th PAT and also has missed 4 FG's this season.  Buffalo coming off a bye week will face the Bengals in Cincinnati in a must win game for both teams who are trending towards very disappointing seasons. The Bears visit the Giants in a game of 2 veteran QB's,one putting together a pretty good year (E. Manning) and the other (J. Cutler) who is almost certain to be run out of town at the end of the season. The 1st place Detroit Lions host the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars in a game featuring 2 teams going in different directions. Detroit controls their playoff destiny this season and the Jaguars try to get out of the basement in their Division. Pittsburgh will travel to Cleveland and try to rebound after their last minute loss to the Cowboys. The Browns are still looking for their 1st win of the season. Dallas winners of 8 straight and with the best record in all of the NFL will face the Ravens and their great defense. Tampa Bay coming off a rout of the Bears last Sunday travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs who are winners of 5 straight and tied with the Raiders for 1st place in the AFC West. The Colts coming off their bye week face a tough Tennessee team with both teams looking to gain ground in the AFC South. Miami goes cross country to face the LA Rams who will be starting Jared Goff, the number one pick in this years NFL Draft. The 49ers host Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, who look to regain their winning ways. In Seattle, the Seahawks face the Eagles in a game that will pit 2 strong defenses against 2 drastically different offenses.
The Sunday night game has the Green Bay Packers traveling to Washington to face to the Redskins. The Packers, losers of 3 straight and being blown out in the last 2, are struggling mightily on defense and are having to rely on QB Rodgers throwing the ball all over the field to just stay close in games. With no true running game, Green Bay will have a hard time trying to go 8-8 this season. It is time for HC McCarthy to coach the whole team and bring in an OC to run the offense, but both McCarthy and Rodgers need to let the new OC do his job and not meddle as they did in with the last OC  before they fired him.  Washington on the other hand has been playing good football and look to make their case for an NFC Wild Card.
On Monday night, the Raiders will face the Texans in a game where both teams seek to win and stay in 1st place in their respective Divisions. Houston which has had allot of issues on offense has relied heavily on its defense lately and with Oakland it is just the opposite, the offense is the strongest part of the team.  With injuries mounting for many NFL teams this season, those who have fantasy football teams are scrambling this season to just put a team out there week in and week out.  Week 10 results;  Cooper 11-3, YTD; 112-33-2   CupofJoeintheD 10-4 ,  twitter; @cupofjoeinthed  email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com
