NFL Power Rankings Week 3 and Recap

The NFL Power Rankings and Recap after week 2 of the Season. Some teams surprised, some teams went back to their old ways and some teams just showed up last week. We seen the continued success of rookie QB's Carson Wentz, Jimmy Garappolo,Brock Osweiler, Dak Prescott and Trevor Siemian as well as the Sam Bradford win after only 2 weeks with the Vikings.  The top teams were the Patriots who were cruising until QB Jimmy Garappolo went down with a shoulder injury and the Steelers, who beat arch rival Cincy to go to 2-0. The Lions reverted back to their old ways of stupid penalties and had numerous injuries and lost in the last minute to the surprising Titans. The NY Giants won a defensive battle over the Saints in a game everyone, including myself thought would be another shootout like last season between the 2 teams.  The Broncos beat the struggling Colts and the LA Rams beat the Seahawks with a swarming defense and just enough offense via the FG for their first win in LA since 1994.  The Packers are looking old and the offense is again sputtering under HC Mike McCarthy calling the plays, time for the Head micro manager to give the reins of the offense over to a true OC and let them take control, too m any weapons on that offense to not score 25 poitns a game. The Cowboys went into Washington and handed the Redskins their 2nd straight loss and their is already talk of dissension in the locker room in regards to QB Cousins. Are you kidding me? Only 2 games into the season and the team is bickering, HC Gruden step up and get your team under control.  The Bills laid another egg and once again HC Rex Ryan made someone a scapegoat for his bad coaching in firing the OC after they Bills scored 31 points. Everyone knows Rex should of fired his brother a defensive coach for the bad showing but Rex is Rex and blames everyone else but himself for how bad the Bills are. If the Bills go 1-4 to start the season, Rex needs to go. Injuries again played a huge part in week 2, with numerous teams losing key players including AP of the Vikings, Garappolo of the Pats, Abdullah, Anash and Van Noy for the Lions. Ware from the Broncos broke a bone in his arm and RB's Martin of TB, Foster of Miami also were injured. Cooper went 12-4 in his week 2 picks and is 26-6 for the season   We will continue to post His record for each weekend and season total.                                                                                                                      twitter; @cupofjoeinthed    email; cupofjoeinthed@gmail.com
