The NFL Power Rankings and Recap after week 2 of the Season. It was an entertaining and very competitive first week in the NFL as many of the games were decided by 5 points or less and many also came down to the final 2 minutes and OT. Two games were decided by missed FG's at the end. We seen the debut of Carson Wentz, Jimmy Garappolo,Brock Osweiler, Dak Prescott and Trevor Siemian as well as the comeback attempt by RG3. A very encouraging weekend as most of these QB's were winners. Denver won its rematch with Carolina in a tough hard hitting but very controversial game in which the Broncos battered Cam Newton all game long with only 1 late hit penalty called. The Eagles and Carson Wentz man handled the Browns and RG3, who took a stupid hit in the game and is out for 6 to 8 weeks. The Raiders and Saints as well as the Lions and Colts had shootouts to begin the season. The Chiefs had an amazing comeback to win their 1st game. The Vikings beat the Titans without scoring an offensive TD. The Seahawks won on a last second TD to beat the Dolphins. The Packers beat the Jaguars in 110 heat with Rodgers looking like the MVP QB he has been throughout his career. Jameis Winston threw for 4 TD's and the Buccaneers once again beat the Falcons to open the season at 1-0. Sunday night saw the heir apparent in NE, Jimmy Garrapolo play in his 1st game and seen his injured Patriots team rally around him and upset the heavily favored Cardinals in Arizona. And on Monday night, the Steelers behind Big Ben and Antonio Brown destroyed the Redskins and the picked to finish last 49ers completely beat up the LA Rams in posting their first shutout win in years. Cooper went
14-2 in his week 1 picks. We will continue to
post His record for
each weekend and season total.
