It's NFL Time - from the Off Season to Training Camps

NFL Training camps are underway throughout the league. Veterans and Rookies are on the field together for the first time. Excitement is in the air as every team, players, and coaches all say the same things about how good they can be this upcoming season. The off season has been a busy one for the NFL.  Deflategate finally ended in Court and Patriot QB Tom Brady must now sit out the first 4 games of the season. Pro Bowl players Peyton Manning and Calvin Johnson retired. Players are getting suspended for PED's. Johnny Manziel was released by the Cleveland Browns and is in legal trouble again. Le'Veon Bell is looking at a 4 game suspension for missing an alleged drug test. The Dallas Cowboys have a few players suspended for multiple games this season and the number 4 draft pick by the Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott is being investigated for allegedly assaulting his ex girlfriend.
The St. Louis Rams are now the LA Rams with the move after last season. The Oakland Raiders are in Oakland in perhaps their last season in Oakland as the NFL and the city of Las Vegas have virtually locked up the Raiders to play in Vegas within the next 2 years. The San Diego Chargers will also possibly move as well in the next year or so and also relocate to another California city.  NFL Games will also be played in London again and the NFL is looking to add another team or two overseas as it looks to globally expand the NFL Brand.  It is all about the money for the NFL and the Owners.
NFL Free Agency was also very busy this off season with many big time players changing teams. A few of the bigger names changing teams were; Arian Foster went from the Texans to the Dolphins, Brock Osweiler went from the Broncos to the Texans,  Josh Norman from the Panthers to the Redskins, Marvin Jones from the Bengals to the Lions,  and Oliver Vernon from the Dolphins to the Giants. QB Andrew luck of the Colts became the highest paid QB in signing a 6 yr deal worth $140M with $87M guaranteed. Also Von Miller, LB for the Denver Broncos signed a 6 yr deal worth $114.5M with $70M guaranteed. Both these contracts set a very dangerous precedent heading into future contracts for Star players and the impact it will have on future salary caps.
The revolving door for NFL Head Coaches continued at the end of last season with 7 new Head Coaches going into the 2016 season. With the emphasis on wins immediately and little else, some Head Coaches are lucky to get 2 years to show improvement nowadays. And the NFL still hasn't figured out what is a catch or isn't a catch nowadays. How many more outcomes will be affected by the NFL's refusal to make a decision one way or another on the what is a catch?
The NFL Season is here. The Preseason is into its 4th week and the NFL season in1 week. With the start of training camps means Fall is around the corner and shortly we will hear the sounds of pad crunching, fans cheering and another season of NFL will be here.
