Last and Best Super Bowl 50 Recap

Super Bowl 50 was won in the trenches as an epic defensive battle unfolded in which the Denver Broncos behind their stout Defense,  Dominated, Destroyed, and Demoralized the Carolina Panthers offensive line and NFL MVP, QB Cam Newton.  Now that all the dust has settled and everyone has rushed to get their stories and posts out first, I have waited to see what the fallout has been from the game and the post game as well.
The Denver Broncos won their 3rd Super Bowl Title and QB Peyton Manning, in what many think was His last game, won his 2nd Super Bowl trophy of his carer. In a game that was all about defense and very little offensively, the Broncos showed why they had the #1 defense in the NFL during the season and that a strong defense can still beat a great offense any given Sunday. Von Miller, Super Bowl 50 MVP, wrecked havoc all game long as He was in Cam Newton's face almost every pass play.  He forced a Newton fumble that turned into a TD late in the first quarter and with 3 FG's added to that TD,and another late TD in the game, the Broncos cruised by the Panthers 24-10.
The Carolina Panthers who came into the game favored by as many as 6 points, never could get their offense on track and when they did move the ball or gain some momentum, they either had a stupid penalty or a miscue or fumbled the ball, a missed wide open receiver, dropped balls by the receivers, or thrown interceptions all led to the demise of the Panthers in Super Bowl 50. The Panthers moved up and down the field but in big passing downs they were unable to stop the Broncos front 7 from destroying the OL of the Panthers at will.  They shot themselves in the foot on many occasion and often were looking at 3rd and long throughout the whole game. One of the huge miscues was on a Carolina punt that instead of the special teams making an easy tackle, for whatever reason they thought the the Broncos Norwood called for a fair catch when there was no indication that He did and he ran it back 61 yards for the longest punt return in Super Bowl history. The other was late in the 4th quarter when Newton was hit and fumbled and he stood and watched the skirmish for the ball and didn't dive into the pile, a huge mistake on his part! I am surprised there weren't more run plays for Newton early in the game or screen passes to the RB's to slow down the Broncos pass rush. Carolina should use this loss as motivation for next season, they are primed to remain an elite team but as we all know, no matter how good a team is, it is very hard to get back to the Super Bowl year in and year out. In a glaring weakness, the lack of a true great WR was very evident in this game and I am sure the Panthers hope that Benjamin can come back next year and be that guy!
Carolina as a team including MVP QB Newton need to grow up and mature as a team and understand what it takes to win the big game and sometimes to get to that point a team has to go through a devastating loss to ensure they are ready for prime time should they get another chance at it. Carolina should be an early favorite for next years Super Bowl. Whether you like Newton and the resat of the Panthers and all the show boating they do during a game, they were the best team in the NFL during the season and look to be again next season.
As for Peyton Manning, " the Sheriff" as He is known to many, this wasn't his best game, in fact He didn't play good at all, but in the end this was a fitting way for him to go out as the winningest QB of all time with 200 wins as a QB. He also now can go out on his own terms which doesn't happen often in Sports nowadays. In a year with many ups and downs and missing almost half the season, Manning came back in game 17 of the season and his strong presence propelled the Broncos through the playoffs and onto the Super Bowl stage once again!
A few side notes for the NFL after the Super Bowl. One,I would find a way to use the CBS Egg vision 360 for all games next season. I would also lock NFL executives into a room until they figure out what defines a "CATCH" and make it ruled the same way in every game. Have the field the Players are playing on be in excellent shape, the fiend for Super 50 was terrible and should never be like this especially in a warm weather State! And find a way to get the best acts to perform at halftime, Lord knows the NFL can afford to pay top dollar and not be so cheap!!!
Cooper the NFL Analyst was 2-0 in picking the Conference Championship Games and went 8-2 in the Playoffs, after going 188-58 during the season, Cooper picked  the Carolina Panthers to win 30-18 and was wrong. Cooper also correctly picked the Broncos and the Panthers as the two SB50 teams that would be facing each other on his blog post from 9/1/15.  @cupofjoeinthed
