NFL Power Rankings Season Ending and Week 17 Recap

The NFL Power Rankings and Recap after week 17 of the Season. The last Sunday of Football was full of suspense as Teams fought for the last playoff spots and others jockeyed for better seeding throughout the Playoffs. The Bills ended the NY Jets hopes for the playoffs with a close win in Buffalo. The fans in Buffalo were cheering the win but I am not sure why for it was the same Rex Ryan who had ruined the Jets in his coaching stint there that turned a playoff contender Bills team into a pretender. Miami at home beat the injured Pats and cost the Pats home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Falcons continued their sloppy and disappointing finish to a very promising season by losing to the Saints on a last second FG.  Houston won their division with a thrashing of the Jaguars. Washington scored 24 points early and then rested their starters as they beat the Cowboys in Dallas. In a game of 2 teams seeking new coaches the Eagles out scored the Giants finishing bad seasons for 2 talented teams in the NFL. The Lions who won 6 of their last 8 games beat the Bears for the 6th straight time as the Bears lost their 6th game in a row as well. Kansas City beat the Raiders in a hard fought game to win their 9th game in a row.  Denver came from behind to beat the Chargers in a game in which Peyton Manning returned and led the Broncos to victory. Seattle went in Arizona and throttled the Cardinals while winning easily. The 49ers beat the Rams in OT and the Steelers beat a bad Browns team to sneak into the playoffs. In the Sunday night game, the Vikings ran out to a big lead and held on to beat the Packers in Green Bay and win the NFC North outright. The Packers who started the season 6-0 continued to look old and lethargic for most of the game and the wheels may be falling off  late in the season. it is Black Monday in the NFL today, with a possible 12 openings for Coaches after the firing that begun last night with the Cleveland Browns, new faces will be Coaching NFL Teams next year!!Cooper went 12-4 in week 17 and is 188-58 for the season so far. We will continue to post His record for each weekend and season total.   From Cooper the NFL Analyst and Myself, We want to thank everyone for reading our Blog posts and Our Power Rankings each week and wishing You and Yours a Blessed and Joyous and Happy New Years.  @cupofjoeinthed
