The NFL Power Rankings and Recap after week 16 of the Season. Week 16
games started off with an entertaining battle between the Chargers and Raiders. The Chargers started off hot but as with many of their games this Season, they fizzled late and lost in OT. The Raiders played hard and determined and won the game. Cam Newton and the Panthers are no longer undefeated, in a tough fought low scoring game, the Falcons took the lead on a Hail Mary type throw to Julio Jones and despite bad time management late in the game, the Falcons ended the Panthers 14 game winning streak. The Lions continued to play better football in winning their 5th game in the last 7 by downing the 49ers. In a cold rain in Buffalo, the Bills ran over the Cowboys. The Chiefs won their 9th straight in a tight game against the Browns and clinched a playoff seed. The Steelers stunk up the joint in Baltimore in losing to the Ravens. Both the NY Giants and the Eagles got their butts handed to them for the 2nd week in a row as their Seasons ended. In the weak NFC East, neither team lived up to their potential and both teams face major issues going into the off season. The Redskins playing their best football of the year behind QB Cousins, won the NFC East with a big win over the hapless Eagles. St. Louis surprised the Seahawks in Seattle to sweep then for the 1st time since 2004. Arizona walloped the sinking Packers in a game that showed that the Cardinals may be the Top team in the NFC this year. The Packers looked clueless and listless as they were totally dominated. The NY Jets beat the Patriots in OT after a confusing coin flip that the Pats won but somehow decided to kick off instead of receiving and the Jets drove right down the field and won. Houston behind their 4th starting QB of the year, pummeled the Titans to remain in 1st place in their Division with one game to play. The Broncos on Monday night came from behind at half time to beat the Bengals by a FG in OT. Cooper went
12-4 in week 16 and is 176-54 for the season so far. We will continue
