Is the Super Bowl and its Commercials over shadowed or over-hyped this year?

Has anyone caught a glimpse or seen the commercials that will run during the Super Bowl this year? I have a feeling that those who watch the Super Bowl this year will be more interested in the commercials than the actual game. There will be those die hard sports fans who will watch the game no matter what but for most it will be the commercials that will be most watched.  But at $8 million dollars for a 60 second ad,  the viewers will not see a lot of the regulars (Companies that have ran commercial ads in recent years) due to the incredibly stupid prices that NBC expects companies to pay.  It will be very interesting to see after the Super Bowl just how many actual viewers tuned in to watch the game and see if the amount of viewers offsets the $8M asked for ads during the game.  I have a feeling that there won't be as many watching the game as NBC has based this $8M asking price per 60 second ad. Big name companies, especially major auto companies have decided that the asking price isn't worth what they will get in return. That alone should tell everybody including NBC and the NFL that they are pricing themselves out of the ad game to not only major companies with huge advertising budgets but also to the fans who turn in to watch the game and the commercials. We will all see some of the companies we have come to love to watch their ads such as Doritos and Budweiser as well as others who push the envelope with very sexual ads to allure some into watching their ads that we truly aren't really interested in just to get their companies some visibility no matter how small it may be.  I would think some of these companies who are paying this crazy amount of $8M per ad could better spend their monies during the year to targeted audiences. And GoDaddy had a ridiculous ad that got so much uproar in just 24 hours after it was showed before the Super Bowl, pulled the ad due to peer pressure from viewers. I have to ask them, what were they thinking and of the ad company they used to make the ad  and showing it to the public? It was good for them to show it beforehand for the backlash to them showing it at the Super Bowl would of been devastating!!! I, just like most truly enjoy the commercials during the Super Bowl and I am a huge football fan as well, but this year the Super Bowl doesn't do anything for me and in talking to many around the country in the past week, they echo my sentiments in regards to the Super Bowl  and to the Black Eye of the NFL and the unresolved deflated football issue with the Patriots, many question the integrity of the game! Suddenly, the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl commercials this year aren't as important or something that people want to make time to watch this year.  Something for the NFL and the major Broadcasting Companies to think about for the upcoming years... Times are changing and so are viewers desires in what they chose to watch...     @cupofjoeinthed
